Dr. Della Porta’s holds theoretical and practical knowledge of optimal educational strategies, curriculum development, and learning as a process embedded in diverse socio-cultural environments. Her ongoing professional development allows her to stay apprised of current issues and advancements in the field, such as the impact of experiences in close relationships on children’s learning and development, contextual and multiliteracy contributions to learning, home-school collaboration, the impact of materials and space on children’s play, 21st century learning, self-determination and regulation, and inquiry-based and integrated learning.
